Maximum Productivity Concepts is owned by Bill Peek. Bill's automotive history is substantial.

Bill has published over 35,00 books starting back in 1975 with his first book on Electronic Ignition during the change over from breaker point ignition. Bill's book and videos were sold by OTC and Automotive Data Marketing Systems. 

Bill's most noteworthy book was Diagnosing Ford EEV-IV with the OTC breakout box. 20,000 copies were sold. Bill went on to Produce Videos for Automotive Data Marketing System and released SmartSpec software that provided fast access to real-world scan data specifications with quick links to diagrams. SmartSpec was selected as a top 20 tool by Professional Tool and Equipment magazine. Bill has been involved in developing training programs for diesel, hybrids, air brakes, high-speed networks, and other emerging technologies.

Profession Fleet Diagnostics' mission is to meet the increasing need for advanced training that fleets are facing with rapidly changing technology. Fleets have unique challenges maintaining mature vehicle fleets and adapting to changing technology on their newer vehicles. The change to common rail high-pressure diesel injection with after-treatment has issues in some applications. Electrification of the fleet presents a challenge (according to a recent survey) because only 3% of the technicians have the skills to diagnose hybrid and electric vehicles. 

PFD is committed to not only providing the best available training taught by expert technicians but a commitment to being available after the class to offer help to technicians with the help they need as they encounter problems. PFD offers this service because the training is developed by expert technicians that have experience with these vehicles. We work with our customers to increase our knowledge base to continually improve our classes. We form a partnership with our customers that is beneficial to both the fleet customer and PFD.

PFD reference books are professional bound and have a lifetime warranty against page separation for the book. The books are printed in full color on acid-free paper with a 92 brightness score. The reference manual is important for our help after the class because it gives us a reference for procedures that can be referenced without going to an information program to such for answers. Our instructors are available to help with problems that may arise after the reference was printed. The combination is a winning combination. Simply put, if factory service manuals were ideal there would be no need for additional training, but that is an impossible dream.  It is impossible to accurately predict what failures might occur, that is why our instructors have a diagnostic experience where they observed actual failures.
